Tasan who appears in a simplified way in the drama is actually a major figure in Korean history. They move with ease from the humorous and even earthy, to the most intense personal emotions between the five main characters. They prove equally capable of writing powerful public debates during the tense last three episodes and moving personal dialogues..
After reading in Wikipedia about the meteoric life of most brilliant and artistic Crow Prince Lee Yeong, I found how much these screen writers were inspired by actual historical facts.
The social context of the fight between the abuses of corrupt court noblemen and the values of equality among all human beings embedded in foreign Christian teachings was also part of that time period.
I only watched a few of them, but when I started watching this drama, really, I have nothing to regret. Huhu, but I'm very sad that it has already came to and end. The only good thing about that drama is Lee Joon-Gi.
I want more, but I can't do anything about it, anymore. Kim you jung is really good, I will start watching out for her in her dramas, all the cast were excellent. Am I the only one who shipped jo ha yeon and lee young? Arguably one of Park Bo-gum's best roles to date in my honest opinion, he portrayed a great Prince, I think he does very well in period dramas. I think the versatility of all the actors really push the story though from start to finish. Story of friendship, story of a relationship that conquers all and betrayal. @bmr39 seriously you're not only exploring the background story but the whole drama. Actually this is my first sageuk drama and as far as i know, most of sageuk dramas has a dark feel while this one has bright feel. Just 3 episodes in and while it's a great drama so far, I'm seeing so many similar elements in it as Sungkyunkwan Scandal... It's so emotional and I think this drama is very unique. I got sucked in instantly after watching the first episode.
I stopped watching when he kissed her in the garden. The people around her must have been dumb enough to have believed her act. Park bo gum is good at acting too he always ask advice to Kim yoo jung cuz she's a senior in acting OMO I can't I really wish they are dating in real life! we we we we and i i i hope my wish will be granted soon because i am the one big fans of boyoo couple and also some of the cast of LITM and i hope there have still season 2 next as we wait we still support them.#boyoo couple fans Pls pls pls we really want them again. He deserved all the nominations and awards given to him. The character of Park Bo-Gum as Lee young the crown Prince is very good. The couple Park Bo - Gum and Kim Yoo-jung have a perfect chemistry as lover.
Like hello, Bo Gum's know she's a guy but still kiss her? Maybe my imagination is bad or just because Reply 1988 is so awesome that it is really hard to beat.. I mean look at the way she carries herself; her behaviors, crying and shit. And she dares to say something like, "I'm now strong enough to protect myself when I'm alone." Yeah, my ass! Congratulations to director Kim Sung-Yoon and writers: Yoon Yi-Soo (web novel), kk (web novel), Kim Min-Jung, Im Ye-Jin. Take care of Jong Yoon Suk, he is a promise of future success. I set this one aside because I'm not into historical theme but I'm glad I started it and finished it in about 2 days.. lol if there's anything i don't like in here, it's probably me getting frustrated on how the female lead, although disguising as a boy and was raised as one, is always a damsel needed saving.. I hope there will be a part two of Love in the Moonlight. If someone has mistake you have to forget and forgive whole heartedly , Love is the key of forgiving ..???
Hong Ra-On disguises herself as a man and counsels men on dating. not only park bo gum made his acting believable but all of the actors..
Due to a love letter she wrote for a client, she meets Crown Prince Hyomyeong (Park Bo-Gum). out of the hundreds kdrama i watched only almost 10 historical kdrama were there and this made it as one of my all time fave historical kdrama! the romance is so sweet even without too much skinship...
I just fall in love, cry, and smile just listening the hymn of the song while there's season 2.
Am still on episode 10, am i the only one who bothered by the fact that the crown prince was falling for ra on while he still think he's a boy?
I laughed, smiled, cried and was inspired by the great love of the lovers. Then i continue watch and watch it until i realize that this drama inspired me. The casts, the story they made me obsessed to this drama.
